Self Storage Facility and Fruit Stand

Patterson Plus Storage is comprised of two 30,000 square foot self-storage buildings, and a 3,200 square foot fruit stand. The fruit stand is sited at the street frontage, and establishes the character of the project and helps transition to the scale of the larger buildings.

Located in the purview of Old Town Goleta and requiring a zone change, the project was subject to extremely stringent design review and had to conform to the farm/ranch style designated in the local design guidelines. The Planning Commission took the unprecedented step of approving the project contingent on maintaining the design character as submitted.
